Welcome to this indeed fine architect-designed house at roads end at the top of a hill by the forest edge. The house is built directly on the Bohuslän rocks to completely melt in with nature and giving You a glimpse of the sea band.

Welcome to this unique house that is all to itself at the end of the road, with a plot bordering the forest where both moose and deer pass. Enjoy nature where You can pick seasonal berries and mushrooms finding it right outside the house. From this location you are also close to all the sights of Tjörn, Orust and Bohuslän.

Relax on sun-warmed rocks and enjoy the salty ocean by taking the bike and visit the nearby nature reserve for a swim from the nature beach area on islet. The distance is about 1,7 km. Kåkenäs & Getskärs bathing areas are also nearby, the latter has rocks, a bathing jetty, a kiosk and dry toilets and a long sandy beach for children. Bathing jetty and deeper water is available as well as good parking area.

You can also take a walk to a small picturesque farm café situated only 700 m down the hill from the cottage. Here You can enjoy coffee and pastry both inside the building built in the 1800- century and outside in a flourishing garden. In the buildings You will also find a vintage store and fabric shop with pretty needlework and handycraft.

In the nearby area, a bike ride away (2km), is the community Stora Höga where You can find almost everyting You might need during Your stay. Several eateries such as sushi, pizzeria, thaifood, sausage kiosk and Café Fröken Andersson. A well sorted grocery store (Hemköp), gas station, hair dresser, an antique shop (occasional opening hours), a large clothing store (Adenmarks) and a shoe store with well-known brands for both men and women.

Only 5 km away is STENUNGSUND - A place where lapping waves and wilderness meet Stenungsund is a minor town uniquely situated with lovely expansive sea views on one side and one of Swedens largest wilderness areas on the other. The citys shopping area is right next to the water, which makes it possible to easily pause with an ice cream on the jetty with a view of the guest harbors boats. A short walk from the shopping area You can also reach a seaside bathing area with both jetty and rocks as well as a green area with beachvolley playground.

In Fregattens Culture House placed in Stenungsund downtown areay You can visit a small cinema, a library and rent a bike. In the same building there is also the Molekylverkstaden, Molecular workshop where young and old can use their creativity and experiment. Of course You will also find several different restaurants and a fish shop with fresh catch in Stenungsund downtown area. Stenungsund also has a large activity indoor arena with swimming pool, bowling and gym.

Nature reserve & Hiking: Svartedalen is a popular place, several hiking trails start from here. There is parking, an information board, a toilet and three shelters with barbecue areas. Bottenstugan is a perfect place for families with children, with open areas for both play and games.

GOLF, Stenungsunds Golf Club with both an 18-hole course and a short-hole course is also located in the immediate area. Adjacent to the golf course there is also a nice restaurant.
