Description
New house from 2020 with great location in Björnrike furnished for 8 people. The house with 95 m2 of space is located on Solhöjden with great views of the mountain Sonfjället and a south-west facing sun-deck. Here you can stay together with a group of friends or two families travelling together!
From the ski slopes there is a 400m sloping road to reach the cabin. And also from the cabin back down to the slopes at Björnrike Centre. If there is sufficient snow you can go on skis both ways.
Björnrike is the perfect ski holiday destination for the family travelling with children. At about 400 meters walking distance from the house is Björnrike Centre where there is a grocery store (open 9-19 all days during ski season), ski rental, 24-hour open gym and bus stop for Snöpendeln transfer bus. In the area, there are also several good restaurants. Bageriet and Bräjks are our favorites. The ski lifts in Björnrike remain open until April 14 for the season 23/24 .
At Björnrikes Cross Country Arena 1,5 km up on the mountain, you will find really nice, prepared cross country skiing trails, a 3 km electric light trail and in addition a 6 km connection trail over to Vemdalsskalet. To the cross-country trails, you can also go on skis by taking Solliften up if you dont want take the car. Here you can leave your car in the parking lot for the whole week if you wish.
It is also possible to arrive without a car all days of the week during the season by taking the train Snötåget that connects with the Snöpendeln bus transfer or with Härjedalingens express bus from Stockholm.
