Description
Beautifully situated accommodation in two cabins in the scenic location within walking distance to the lake with both bath sauna and footpath at the corner. Beautiful views and tranquil natural setting midway between Kolmarden Zoo and Astrid Lindgrens World.
The cottages from the 1700s are built in a ttwin house and located in a small church village in the beautiful Uknadalen about 12 km south of Åtvidaberg.
Both cottages are self-catering with 6 beds in each cabin, each with a porch. In both cottages there is a kitchen, living room, shower room with toilet, small double bedroom and a larger bedroom has 2 sofa beds and two single beds and a cot.
Theres is Wifi in Booth cottages.
The cottages are rented out all year around the prices applay per cottage.
From June 15 to August 22, we primarily have rentals per week.
About 10 minutes walk to the lake where there is a swimming area with fireplace and shelters.
Wood-fired sauna, a small rowboat and angling for personal use within the restricted area of the lake is available for rent.
Uknadalen is a very beautiful natural and cultural landscapes of high mountains with nice view points and large scree with high natural value and plenty of wildlife. Storån meanders through the valley with very bird-rich marsh land.
Within an hour, you go by car to Linköping Air Force Museum and Old Town Linkoping, St. Annas-, Gryts-, Gamlebys- and Västervik archipelago and many other places worth a visit.

Directions
From Åtvidaberg, highway 35 towards Västervik, turn left to Valdemarsvik, Falerum. After about 10 km turn left towards Gärdserum2 Cottages 1 (dirt road), go about 2 km, sign Bo i Gärdserum on your right, turn left immediately after. Run into the yard. Here it is.
