The cottage is situated 70 meters from the main building, 200 meters from Vänern. 300 meters walk to a small marina and beach.
Klöveskog is famous for its unspoilt, lush nature and it is close to the water. The area is on a cape in Vänern which, according to SMHI, has as many hours of sun as Öland.
8 km to a well-stocked grocery store, 15 km to Mellerud centre, 10 km to golf course, 10 km to a five-star camping site with pool.
There are many long, sandy beaches in the area, which are great for windsurfing and kitesurfing.

From Mellerud to Järn, continue to Jakobsbyn, continue 700 m to Udden, turn left towards Svartebäck. Drive 2 km.
