Welcome to Lars-Jons, a historic Hälsingland farmhouse dating back to the 17th century, located beside Lake Skärås, surrounded by forest and close to excellent fishing waters. It is approximately a four-hour drive from Stockholm.
The house has four bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, two toilets, four working fireplaces and modern amenities.
Enjoy easy access to hiking, fishing, skiing and swimming. A rowing boat is available to borrow.
During your stay at Lars-Jons, you will be in a peaceful rural setting surrounded by nature, just a few minutes from Lake Skärås.
The house is well suited to families, with a playroom, cot, potty and high chair. At 200 square metres, it offers plenty of space.
There are many opportunities for outdoor activities nearby, including fishing, hiking, swimming and skiing. A private footpath leads down to Lake Skärås, where you can swim from the rocks.
The location is also ideal for day trips, with the Dellensjöarna lakes only 10 minutes away by car, Hassela Ski Resort 30 minutes away, and Hudiksvall and Järvsö about one hour’s drive away. For cross-country skiing, there are several floodlit and other trails within 20–30 minutes of the house.
The house is 200 square metres and has a practical and spacious layout. On the ground floor, there is a large living room, a bedroom with a double bed, a bathroom with a shower, and a kitchen equipped with an induction hob, microwave, refrigerator, freezer and dishwasher.
Upstairs, there is a combined bedroom and playroom with four built-in beds, a second bedroom with two single beds, and a large bedroom with a double bed. There is also a toilet with a washing machine and tumble dryer. Basic amenities such as pillows, duvets, kitchen equipment and cleaning supplies are provided.

Directions
From Hudiksvall: Take Route 84 towards Ljusdal. Turn off towards Delsbo and Bjuråker. Drive through Bjuråker, then turn left into the forest towards Skärås. The final 10 minutes are on a gravel road. Mobile coverage is poor with providers other than Telia, so please download the map for offline use.
