Welcome to Mejeriet! An old dairy farm from the 1800s that was converted into a cozy and unique home in the mid-1900s. We do our best to preserve the old home charm, while offering modern comfort, such as a newly installed central heating system.

The farm is located at the foot of the “flowering mountain,” Kinnekulle, in a beautiful area offering nature experiences, hiking trails, ancient ruins, and many cultural sites.

6 km from the village of Hällekis and 7 km from the small town of Götene. 12 km to three swimming beaches on Lake Vänern.

Mejeriet has two floors, with two bedrooms on the upper floor, and a living room, dining room, well equipped kitchen, fireplace room as well as a writers room downstairs. The garden has outdoor furniture and a grill. A few steps away, you will find our sauna. There are beautiful horses around, and you will be able to watch them from the window.
