Gather your friends or your large family and live with the sea as a neighbor! In this house on Långholmen on Rörö you live with the sea as a neighbor and you can enjoy a fantastic view from all the houses rooms and the patio facing south. From the cliffs below the house you can enjoy swimming from morning to evening. You live in the whole house which is on two floors. On the ground floor there is a kitchen and living room, two bedrooms (one with a double bed and one with a bunk bed and a single bed), a toilet and a bathroom with shower, toilet and washing machine. Upstairs there are three separate bedrooms and a small hall. The first bedroom has a double bed and a single bed. The second bedroom has a double bed as well as a sofa bed and the third bedroom has two single beds. The house has a terrace and patio facing the sea in south where you can grill and enjoy good dinners.
Rörö is located furthest north in Öckerö municipality. Most of the island is a nature reserve, with a large heath, cobblestone fields and fine cliffs along large parts of the western side. Around the nature reserve, you get around on two different walking trails or roam freely. In the summer, horses and lambs graze free on the reserve. Rörö has a large and well-visited guest harbor. In the harbor there is a well-stocked Ica store, Röröboa which has made itself known for its homemade ice cream but where you can also eat simpler dishes and Rörö Fiskeboa and Krog which sells fresh seafood and has both lunch and dinner. In a small shed in the harbor you will also find the Frank shop with sales of unique fishing and archipelago clothing. In the guest harbor there is also a small local history museum. If you follow the guest harbor to the west, you will be met by five nice beaches, but if you prefer a jetty, there is a municipal beach on the east side of the island that offers both nice beaches and swimming from the jetty. On the way here you also pass a playground.
Despite its small size, the island can offer a variety of sports activities. In the park next to the guest harbor there are both beach volleyball court and 6 boules courts. If you instead follow the stairs up the mountain behind Rörö Fiskeboa, you will come to the islands racket center where you will find both a newly renovated tennis court and a newly built padle court (both bookable in Matchi). There is also a soccer field on the island. In summer, swimming school as well as soccer training and tennis / padle courses are offered during different weeks. Contact the landlord to rent SUP or sea kayak during your stay.
