Description
A very nice cottage in Fiskebyn on the island of Vätö, one hour car journey from Stockholm. The cottage is 50m2 and open plan which gives it a spacious feeling. There is an open fire place, TV, kitchen with dishwasher, bathroom and bedroom with double bed. There is also a two room cabin with double bed and bedsofa, and TV with dvd-player. The cottage and cabin are linked by a conservatory with glassdoor which opens out onto a large sundeck. On the sundeck you can catch the sun until late evening in the summer months. Also on the sundeck is a bench with seaview, sun loungers, and table and chairs for eating out. The house is surrounded by a lawn and at the entrance there is a small veranda, wich is a nice and sunny spot for a cup of coffee! The cottage is really close to the sea, there is a small beach where you can swim, also a jetty, which belongs to the area. There is also a sauna and shower by the sea which can be booked, free of charge. There are various picnic spots near the sea.
There is a grocery shop in Harg, 10 mins by car. Close to Harg is Vätö farm, where you can pick your own super tasty strawberries in july, there after rasberries and redcurrants. They also have a farm shop.
The cottage is perfectly placed for excursions in the area, for example Grisslehamn and Arholma or to pleasant Norrtälje, where you can take boat trips to the archipelago.

Directions
By car: Take E18 from Stockholm towards Norrtälje. In Norrtälje take the road to Vätö approx 17 km. 1200 m after Vätö bridge turn left towards Dyvik and Vätö huvud. After 2.5 km the road turns left towards Marsbacken, but keep on going straight instead and then take a right towards Fiskebyn!
By bus: take bus 676 from Stockholm towards Norrtälje. Then bus 638 towards Vätö. Get off at the Dyvik stop.
