At Torsbergs Skog & Fisketurism you can rent the timbered Viking Cottage with 4 + 2 beds distributed over 2 bedrooms and a sleeping loft. One bedroom has 2 single beds, the other has 1 bunk bed, and the sleeping loft has 2 beds suitable for children or one adult. There is a spacious hallway, living room with sofa bed, TV and wood-burning stove, a fully equipped kitchen with dining area in an open plan, bathroom with shower and toilet, laundry area with washing machine, as well as a terrace with outdoor furniture and a wonderful view over Lake Olången.
The village of Karl Gustav is beautifully situated between the two lakes Ökången and Mäsen in the province of Västergötland, Halland County, 35 km northeast of the city of Varberg. Here you can experience what the wonderful Swedish nature has to offer, with forests, lakes, and the sea all within reach.
Our surroundings offer, among other things, lake fishing where we have fishing rights in 12 lakes and sell fishing permits, boats and canoes for rent, hiking in forests and countryside, or for those who prefer cycling, we have tips on great cycling routes. For swimming, you can choose between lakes and the sea. If you wish to experience city life and entertainment, Gothenburg is 75 km away, and Borås with its fine zoo is 70 km away. For shopping enthusiasts, Ullared with Sweden's largest shopping center is 20 km away.
Directions
If you are coming from the south on the E6, take the R 41 exit 55 Varberg North towards Borås. In Derome, turn right towards Kungsäter. After about 15 km, turn right towards Karl Gustav. In Karl Gustav, turn left before the church towards Brunared. After 1 km, after the football field, turn right onto a narrow gravel road, drive 700 m and you will arrive at the Viking Cottage, which will be on your right.
If you are coming from the north on the E6, take exit 55 Varberg North and then follow the directions above.
