Description
A charming little Scanian summer cottage just 100m from the beach!
Here you will find everything you need for a wonderful holiday!

Step into the cottage, which despite its modest size is airy and well-planned.
First you will be greeted by the pleasant dining area where you can enjoy your meals and have something nice to drink.
Furthermore, you will find the kitchenette-like kitchen which has 2 hotplates, microwave, work surfaces, large fridge/freezer, whisk, coffee maker and kettle.

During the day you can relax in the living room, watch TV or play some board games.
In the evening the sofa turns into a sofa bed for 2 people and directly adjacent you will find the bunk bed for 2 people.

Open the patio door and step out onto the large and private patio (15m2).

The outdoor furniture and the ball grill invite you to enjoy nice meals and pleasant moments under the open sky.

Half the patio is under cover, nice when the sun is shining at its strongest or there is a summer rain.

There is a toilet in the cottage. When you shower, you use the tennis clubs facilities which are located in the same area (about 20 meters away).

You also have access to the clubs laundry room.

For the children there are toys inside and out, childrens books, childrens films, board games, a fold-out travel cot and high chair.

There is a 22 inch TV with DVD player and a selection of films to borrow. There are no regular TV channels or wifi. We advise you to bring your own device (e.g. Apple TV or Chromecast) if you want to stream TV via your own internet (share the internet from your phone or bring a mobile broadband.)

Åhus tennis club has a rich history that stretches back to 1935. The club has an indoor hall with 3 courts and 5 gravel courts by the sea.
In 1981, the Tennis Cottage was donated to the club from a nearby property and was lifted to its current location by crane.
The cottage is located within the tennis clubs grounds but has its own private location down in one corner. There is a fence with a gate around the cottage and the patio is completely private. There is a high fence between the tennis courts and the cottage.
A common question is whether the noise from the tennis courts is not disturbing.
-How you perceive noise is of course individual, but if you are not hypersensitive, you should not be bothered.
-Tennis is less noisy than, for example, padel.
-The cottage is a few meters away from the courts and there are other permanent residents living next door to the tennis courts who are about the same distance away.
-The tennis cottage has been rented out for many years to both ordinary tourists and tennis players/tennis families who have rented to be able to play a lot of tennis.

Why not take the opportunity to combine sun & swimming with tennis at one of Swedens finest facilities!
The club offers summer courses for both children/adults/beginners/advanced.
There is also a course where younger children & parents train together.
The clubs tennis coach and older juniors offer private lessons.
When you rent a week in the Tennis Cottage, the club offers you 2 hours of free court rental.
Tennis balls, racks for children and adults are available in the cottage.

Åhus offers many different activities such as beach handball, beach soccer. Fantastic opportunities for excursions, swimming, relaxation, walks, gym, jogging tours, bowling, tennis, mini golf, and there are also canoes and bicycles to rent...
In Åhusparken, various events/entertainment such as dancing, tailgate raffle, sing-alongs, etc. are organized on certain days during the high season.
And why not go and find bargains at one of Åhus famous flea markets (Åhus IF & Lions) which are open between 09:00-13:00 every Saturday except public holidays...
But perhaps Åhus is best known for its enormous ice creams (one scoop is like two scoops) which are best enjoyed in a freshly baked cone (in Åhus we say waffle) down by the sea or next to the church in the medieval square.
Keep an eye out for Ottoglass!

You bring your own bed linen & towels. Pillows & duvets are in the cottage.
There is no internet in the cottage.

When you have decided to book, the club will draw up a rental contract that you approve.
You then swish the club an advance payment of 500 SEK (non-refundable).
You swish the club the remaining amount on site after you have received the key.
Always free cancellation (what you lose is the 500 SEK you swished as an advance)

Charming cottage in Åhus with a perfect location! ️ We had a wonderful week in this cozy little cottage in Åhus, right by the tennis club! Perfect for us two adults and a teenager. The location was absolutely fantastic, with close walking distance to the nice sandy beach and to the entrance to the Beach Handball tournament that we were at. ☀️ . The two hours of free tennis that were included were also a big plus. The cottage was equipped with most things. However, it lacked an oven. Nice patio at the back without visibility is also a plus. Our hosts at the club were extremely responsive to requests and very helpful. We will be back in 2025! Kind regards Paul and family

Two adults and two children rented this cozy cottage v30 and had a great time! The accommodation is very cozy and the patio became a favorite place after a long day at the beach. The cottage is perfectly located to the beach and cycling distance to central Åhus. The area is quiet and nice. The service from the cottage host was superb! We were able to borrow a tennis court plus racket, washing machine and got lots of tips on things to do in the area. The tennis courts are not a nuisance as all the players were very nice.
