Welcome to Sjölunden, a beautiful and peaceful place in the middle of the wonderful nature of Öland.
The cottage is situated just 50 meters from the sea in the middle of the nature reserve “Knisa Mosse”. Here you’ll have the opportunity to experience Swedish wildlife through the nearby nature walk and bird tower. You can also go by bike on the unpaved tracks along the coast.
If you don’t want to be on the crowded sand beaches of Northern Öland you can sunbathe on the flat rocks by the water here in Sjölunden. In addition, you have the possibility to book our barbeque area by the boathouse where you may enjoy beautiful sunsets!
Strandvillan
Strandvillan is beautifully located right next to the sea. The house is all newly renovated and is modern with a high standard. It has 8 + 2 beds which also makes it suitable for two families to share.
Strandvillan has a fully equipped kitchen with a ceramic cooktop, convection oven, micro, dish washer and a wood stove. Adjoined to the kitchen there is a glass terrace with a great ocean view. Next to the kitchen lies a bedroom with three beds. There is also a living room with a sofa bed as well as a dining room with big windows towards the sea. On the bottom floor you will also find a fully tiled bathroom with floor heating.
Upstairs there is a living room with three large windows giving you a fantastic view of the sea. Here you also find two bed rooms, one with a double bed. Next to the bed rooms lies a bath room with both shower and a small sauna. There is also a balcony overlooking the sea which gives opportunities to enjoy the beautiful sunsets of Öland.
Strandvillan has a high standard and is perfect for a person who likes to spend their holiday in a peace and quiet setting right on the coast surrounded by beautiful nature.
A part in good fishing water with good possibilities to fish salmon during spring and autumn.
Sjölunden is situated 2Km south of Sandvik. It is a cosy fishing village with a port, sandy beach, fish shop/restaurant, souvenir shops and a well sorted ICA supermarket. Here is also Northern Europe’s largest wind mill with a restaurant, a pizza place and a small bakery together with a miniature golf course. At the port there is also a coffee shop, Hamncaféet with a restaurant and with possibilities to rent bicycles
