Old timber house from 1800 , a compliment building too the orignal farmhouse . The accomodation consists of one large rum, 45m2, with a double bed , two bunk beds and/ or a comfortable double bed in the form of a bed sofa.
Simple cooking facilities , bathroom with shower ,tv. A grill is available on the deck attached too the houses southern side .Under floor heating on antik french terrcotta tiles
.The Island of Öland is rich in history from the viking period ,with hundreds of well marked buriel grounds and traces of habitats from that time. The flat moorland nature is the islands trademark and is famous both for its floral and bird life . Öland is connected too the mainland by a 6 kilometer bridge between öland and kalmar ,a hansa city with many historical buildings from the 1600 s preserved .
Directions
Upon arrivel in Kalmar one drives (or by bus)over the well known ölands bridge.Having crossed the 6 Km bridge one drives north 40 km too the village of Köpingsvik. Take the first road too the right after the wellcome sign too köpingsvik,next right again after 200 meters,now you are on kolstad kyrkgata,drive 400m and you will see the thatched farm house on your left, the flat lies directly north too the main building .English is spoken ,so please ring if you have any questions.
